Coach Brooks' Comments:
"Game one we did a good job of coming out early and scoring and continued to tack on runs. Ben Elder settled down after the second and really did a good job limiting damage. Game two we were able to take advantage of our running game and
Josh Elvir and Brad Mathiowetz had some huge at bats to allow us to pull away every time they made a run at us."
Key Players:
- Elvir dominated the Rams offense, finishing the day 5-of-7 from the plate. He tallied three home runs, seven RBI, and scored eight runs.
- Mathiowetz was monstrous in game two, going 3-for-5 from the plate, tallied six RBI and a home run. He finished the day, scoring five runs.
- Williams contributed to the offense as well, going 6-of-7 from the plate. He registered five RBI, and three runs.
