- The Rambelles dropped match number two last week in their only match, losing 1-0 to No. 16 West Texas A&M in Canyon.
- Sophomore Grace Jordan ranks sixth in the Lone Star Conference with six goals on the season, her five game-winning goals are the best mark in the LSC.
- Valerie Solis leads the team with four assists, she holds the second-best mark in the conference.
- Kira Miller earned made nine saves last week against WT, the most she has made in a single contest all season.
- Miller, the reigning Lone Star Conference goalkeeper of the year, has 43 saves on the season, she is 11 saves away from tying the ASU all-time record of 297 which is currently held by Lisa Carey and Becky Martin. She already holds the Belles all-time shutouts (36) and wins (53) titles.
- Miller and backline staple Cassidy Hill were announced as LSC preseason Goalkeeper and Defender of the year, both for the second consecutive season.
- Hill and Miller have each played all 1,170 minutes of the 2022 season.
- Jordan and Miller earned LSC honors after wins against Eastern New Mexico and St. Mary's in match week five.
- Hill was recognized as the LSC Defensive Player of the Week in match week four after shutting out both Texas A&M International and Oklahoma Christian.
- Miller also earned LSC Goalkeeper of the Week honors after a shutout and six saves in match week two against Colorado School of Mines and Regis.
- Seniors Mia Czarnecki and Hill were announced as captains for the 2022 campaign.
- ASU returns 19 of 28 letterwinners from the 2021 season which saw them advance to the second round of the NCAA DII National Tournament.
- The Belles have outscored their opponents 21-7 through 13 games, averaging 1.62 goals per contest, only allowing opponents 0.54, the second-best mark in the conference.
- Head Coach Travis McCorkle enters his 15th season at the helm of the Belles program, looking to add more hardware following the team's second consecutive LSC Tournament Championship.
- Assistant Coach Harold Muñoz enters his sixth season with the Belles, and Avery McNeme enters the coaching ranks as the Belles graduate assistant following five years on the pitch.
ANGELO STATE vs. LUBBOCK CHRISTIAN
- The Rambelles have never been beaten by the Lady Chaps, holding a 4-0-1 all-time advantage.
- The last time the teams played was in Lubbock in 2021 where the Belles won a tight contest 1-0.
- LCU is currently 6-1-5 on the season and 3-1-2 in Lone Star Conference action.
- The Lady Chaps are 1-1-1 in their last three matches, beating Texas A&M International 1-0, drawing with West Texas A&M 0-0, and most recently losing to UT Tyler 1-0.
- LCU ranks first in assists (23) and third in goals (23) in the Lone Star.
- Lexi De La Cruz leads the Lady Chaps with eight goals and an assist, she ranks third in the conference in goals and fourth in points (17).
- Abby Kone has played every minute in goal for the Lady Chaps, she has 47 saves and five shutouts on the season.
- The Lady Chaps sit fifth in the LSC at 3-1-2. They match up with the Belles Wednesday before hosting Texas Women's.
ANGELO STATE at. UT TYLER
- The Rambelles are also undefeated against UT Tyler in a very new series, holding a 2-0-0 record all-time against the Patriots.
- Solis scored a penalty which helped the Belles to a 2-0 victory over UTT last season in San Angelo.
- The Patriots are 7-2-2 on the season and are 2-2-2 in LSC play, currently sitting seventh in the conference.
- UTT averages over 18 shots per game, the highest mark in the LSC.
- The Patriot's 24 goals are the third most in the LSC this season, they also rank second in assists (22) and points (70).
- Samaris Alvarado leads the line for UTT, she has seven goals and an assist on the season, ranking fifth in the conference with her 15 points.
- Camri Cecil is the Patriot's number one in goal, she has 25 saves and four shutouts on the year.
