SAN ANGELO, Texas – The top-ranked Angelo State baseball team tallied a victory on Thursday night, opening the series against Texas A&M International with a 7-0 win at Foster Field at 1^st Community Credit Union Stadium.
 
With the win, the Rams improve to 31-4 overall on the year and 29-4 in Lone Star Conference play.
 
After a scoreless first inning, the Rams pulled ahead with four runs in the second inning, scoring the first on an error before a bases-loaded hit by pitch made added another. The final two runs came in on a single by Jacob Guerrero to make it 4-0.
