LAWTON, Okla. - The Angelo State women's basketball team were able to pull out a gritty 73-70 win over Cameron on Monday evening inside the Aggie Gymnasium.

The Rambelles improve to 6-3 overall and are now 4-1 in Lone Star Conference play. The Aggies fall to 2-6 overall and 0-4 in conference action.

40 MINUTEÂ RUNDOWN
- Majik Esquivel would score four of the team's first six points giving the Rambelles a 6-2 lead with 7:34 remaining in the first quarter of action.
- A layup from Landy Morrow with 50 seconds remaining gave the Rambelles their first double digit lead, 19-9.
- Addy Burns extended the Rambelles lead to 20, 29-9 with a layup from the under the basket.
- A three pointer from Madli Lumsden gave the Rambelles a 25-point lead, 40-15 the largest of the contest.
- The Aggies would score five points to the first with a 17-point deficit, 42-25.
- The Aggies went on a 13-2 run to bring the Aggies within six, 46-40.
- Cameron would come back from a 25-point deficit, after Kloe Heiderbrecht would hit a three pointer to give the Aggies a 57-55 lead with 7:45 remaining in the contest.
- Addy Burns would knock down both free throws at the 1:28 marker to reclaim the lead, 71-70.
- Madeline Stephens would knock down two free throws to give the Rambelles a 73-70 victory over the Aggies.

- Lumsden was the team-leading scorer with 18 points on 7-12 shooting. Lumsden also recorded four rebounds and three assists.
- Keniah Williams recorded her fourth double-double after recording 13 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks.
- Burns would record her first career double-double, after recording 10 points and 12 rebounds.
- The Belles would shoot 41 percent (27-65) from the field, 22 percent (4-18) from behind the arc, and 88.2 percent (15-17) from the free throw line.
- The Belles would win the rebound battle 40-38 but lose the turnover battle 20-24.
