RICHARDSON, Texas – Angelo State track and field's Oleg Ananyev was selected as the Lone Star Conference Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week. 

Ananyev, a management major from Irkutsk, Russia, won the pole vault at the Stan Scott Invite hosted by Texas Tech, clearing a height of 5.30m (17-4.5). He has jumped the top two heights in the LSC this season. The jump in Lubbock would give him two of the top four marks in the entire country this season.
