Quotes || Chuck Waddington, Angelo State head coachOn playing against Texas A&M-Kingsville on Saturday at the Junell Center:"Statistically, they are the best offensive team in the conference right now. I've seen them on tape, and they match up with those numbers for sure. They are playing great defense and transition well to find their hitters who are doing a good job of putting the ball away. We're going to have to do a really good job of tracking their attackers and defending well."
Â
On the status of the Belles through the first nine matches of the 2014 season:"The best thing is that we are continuing to improve as the season goes on. We have a lot of young kids who are starting to figure it out which is good for us. We're still a little banged up, but we have players stepping up and doing a good job in the roles that we've been putting them in. I'm pretty happy with our progress right now."
