LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 15 Angelo State University Belle Volleyball team fell to Lubbock Christian University, 3-1, in a hard fought match on Tuesday night. The Belles fall to 19-2 overall and 11-1 in conference.

- ASU had a slow start in set one in gaining a lead over the Lady Chapparals, with neither team being able to find an advantage over the other.
- Two service aces from Morgan Preston and kills from Kailyn Gilbreath and Makenzie Griffin gave the Belles an 11-9 lead over LCU.
- Preston went on a five serve streak for Angelo State.
- LCU found their momentum and jumperd ahead of the Belles, until Lindsey Ledyard would come to serve for the Belles and tie the score at 22-22.
- ASU foughtt a hard battle in set one, but fell short to LCU, 25-23.

- Lubbock Christian gained a quick lead early in set two, scoring five unanswered points.
- Angelo State would retaliate quickly, scoring three points to bring the score to 8-3.
- LCUÂ continued to dominate the first half of set two, jumping to a 15-4 lead over the Belles.
- With Meghan Parker back to serve, she cut LCU's lead down with two service aces and kills from Sundara Chinn and Haley Coulter.
- When Chinn came to the serving line, she went on an amazing nine serve run to bring the Belles to a tie late in set two, tying the score at 25-25 and forcing a win by two situation.
- On a block from Griffin and a kill from Gilbreath, ASU claimed set two, 27-25.

- LCU once again took an early, quick lead and jumped to 8-3 over the Blue and Gold.
- With attack errors by the Belles, along with a couple service aces from LCU player Maddie DeGuire, the Lady Chaps extended their lead to 16-8.
- An attack error by ASU gave LCU the set three victory, 25-11.

- Set four would start off slow for both ASU and LCU, as both teams kept trading off points and neither team was able to gain an advantage over the other.

- Angelo State and Lubbock Christian continued to battle for points throughout set four, but kills from LCU players Ashley Vanfleet and Hailey Cournoyer gave the set tp LCU, ending set four 25-23.

- Kailyn Gilbreath led the Belles offensively, registering 13 kills for ASU.
- Meghan Parker would be an enormous asset for the Belles, having 24 assists on offense and nine digs on defense.
- Makenna Hanssen led the defense with 19 digs against the Lady Chapparals.
