SAN ANGELO – The second-ranked Belles, coming off a pair of home conference wins last week, look to replicate their results from this past weekend when they open their conference road schedule, going to Midwestern State on Friday and Cameron on Saturday.
The Belles are coming off an LSC opening weekend where they claimed a pair of sweeps over Oklahoma Christian and UAFS. Seven of the nine Belles' wins this season have been sweeps.
As a team, the Belles rank second in the conference in opponent hitting percentage, with opponents only hitting .127 in matches against the Belles. They are also second in kills per set with 14.36 while only conceding a conference-best 10.14 opponent kills per set.
Individually,
Kailyn Gilbreath has paced the Belles on the offensive side of the ball, leading the team in kills (98) and assists (280) while also hitting .346 so far. The senior received her third conference weekly award in as many weeks this season, being named setter of the week twice as well as offensive player of the week once.

Elsa Lamphere (81) – and freshman
Jaedyn Woolley has emerged as a second setter for the Belles, recording double-digit assists in five of the Belles last six matches, including a career-high 28 against Lynn back on September 10
th.
Defensively,
Baleigh Allen is a dominant force in the middle for the Belles, leading the LSC in blocks with 1.15 per set. The senior is also responsible for seven of the Belles' 14 solo blocks so far this season.
SCOUTING THE MUSTANGS
Midwestern State are 3-7 on the season and 1-1 in conference play, splitting on the road last weekend, beating Texas A&M International before dropping their match to Texas A&M-Kingsville.
The Mustangs are hitting .135 as a team this season while opponents hit .242 against them. They are paced by Lauryn Bourne's 107 kills and defensively, Lissette Lefforge leads the team with 33.0 blocks, tenth-best mark in the LSC.
The Belles are 24-1 against the Mustangs since 2008, with the lone loss occurring in Wichita Falls back in 2008. Head coach
Chuck Waddington has led his team to victory in their past nine visits to D. L. Ligon Coliseum.
SCOUTING THE AGGIES
Cameron currently holds a 1-11 record on the season and are currently amid a 10-match losing streak. They dropped their conference openers last weekend to the Javelinas and the Dustdevils.
A pair of Aggies, Alanni Carter and Arianna Navarette, are both on 89 kills for the season, with the duo responsible for exactly half of all the Aggies' kills this season.
The Belles are 20-1 against the Aggies dating back to 2007, with the lone loss occurring in 2007; the Belles have a 10-game winning streak in Aggie Gym, with four of those being sweeps.
After this weekend, the Belles return to the friendly confines of the Junell Center for a three-match homestand.
