SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State football team tallied two athletes on the AP Division II All-American lists in defensive back
Andrew Pitts and linebacker
Eric Rascoe.
Pitts, a senior kinesiology major, was named First-Team Defense after tallying six interceptions and 43 tackles this season. He was named the Lone Star Conference Defensive Back of the Year and set the ASU career interceptions record. Pitts was also named to the D2CCA All-American list this season.
Rascoe, a senior business analytics major, earned Second-Team Defense after collecting 55 tackles with four sacks, three interceptions, and 6.5 tackles for loss. He was also named the LSC Co-Linebacker of the Year.
