Laredo, Texas- The Angelo State women's golf team concluded their opening round of play in the Jack Brown Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M International on Feb. 3. 

The Quick Hits:  

• The Rambelles sit in second place as a team after an opening round combined score of 316. 

• Mia Clarke led the way for the Belles in the first round, tied for fourth as an individualist, with a round score of 76. 

• Kelsey Kline ended her opening round of play tied for ninth with a round score of 79.  

• Caitlin Vanderkruk was the third scorer for the Blue and Gold, ending the round tied for 12th with a score of 80.  

• Lacey Stevens concluded the first round tied for 15th with a score of 81.  

• Johanna Öhrling rounded out the team scoring for the Belles in 36th place individually with a score of 95.  

• Kara Knight, the individualist for ASU, ended the first day of play in 32nd place with a round score of 89. 

The Belles are back in action for the final round of play on Feb. 4.
