SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State women's basketball team will play Southwestern Oklahoma State and McMurry in the Lady Buff Thanksgiving Tournament hosted by West Texas A&M this Friday and Saturday.
 
Both games are scheduled at 2 p.m. at First United Bank Center in Canyon. The Belles are 2-1 on the season with wins over St. Edward's and Texas A&M-International. The lone loss came at the hands of Central Oklahoma.
 
The Belles are averaging 58.0 points per game and Lauren Holt is averaging 12.3 point per game to lead the team. Haylee Oliver is second in scoring at 12.0 points per game and was selected to the Marriott Champions Circle Pioneer Premiere All-Tournament team this past weekend.
 
Sally Walling Brooks now sits at 394 career victories for her career and 239 of the wins have come at Angelo State.
 
Southwestern Oklahoma is 2-1 on the season and is led by leading scorer Michelle Fisher. Fisher is averaging 18.0 points per game. The War Hawks of McMurry are 0-4 this season.
