Top Seeds Face Off with LSC Championship on the Line

FRISCO, Texas – After a dominant defensive performance in the semifinals, the Angelo State women's basketball returns to the Lone Star Conference Championship game for the first time since 2019 for a matchup with the LSC regular season champions, Texas Woman's on Sunday Mar. 5th at 1 p.m.

Each single-session ticket includes two tournament games and is redeemable for the specified session only. Tickets can be purchased at the Comerica Center Box Office or online through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com) now through the end of the tournament. Tickets purchased on Ticketmaster are subject to additional fees and taxes. No additional fees will be applied to tickets purchased at the Comerica Center Box Office.
 
ANGELO STATE vs TEXAS WOMAN'S
  • The Rambelles held UT Tyler to their worst shooting performance of the year in the first semifinal game, downing the Patriots 62-53.
  • Madeline Stephens and Sawyer Lloyd each recorded double-doubles in the win, while Tayjanna McGhee-Pleasant led all scorers with 16.
  • Texas Woman's came out and stayed hot in the second semifinal vs Lubbock Christian, going 7-7 from three in the first half.
  • Brielle Woods and Ashley Ingram led the way for TWU, each scoring 17 points, Ingram completing a double-double with 12 rebounds.
  • During the regular season, the Rambelles handed the Pioneers their first conference loss and ended their historic 21-game winning streak.
