Hall of Honor
Decuir played basketball and baseball at San Angelo College and Angelo State College from 1962-1967. He won the Nathan's Award in 1963-64 along with being the team MVP and a co-captain. The Rams went 87-29 on the hardwood during his four years and was a key member of the 1962-63 season when SAC was ranked No. 1. The 1963-64 season brought a conference and regional championship and a 11th place at the national tournament. As a senior he led the team in scoring with 12.9 points per game. Decuir was named the interim basketball coach from 1967-1968 while Phil George served a tour in the Air Force. He graduated from ASU in 1967 and has served on the ASU Alumni Association Board and the ASU Ram Club Board.
